Rossoneri’s got Italian job done
ITALIAN giants AC Milan have been given a huge Europa League let-off by having a one-year ban overturned.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport upheld the club’s appeal against the UEFA sanction.
The Rossoneri were excluded from the governing body’s competitions after they were found guilty of breaching UEFA’s licensing and financial fair play regulations.
Milan – now controlled by US hedge fund Elliott – took an appeal to CAS, and yesterday a panel restored the seven-time European champions.
