Woff needs home but title’s first

-

TITLE-CHASING Tai Woffinden bids to end his seven-year British Grand Prix hoodoo tonight.

The GB skipper has never won his home GP in seven tries, going back to his debut in 2010.

Woffinden, 27, was runner-up twice at Cardiff and will be only the third British rider to come out on top if he can claim a third victory in five GPs this season.

He said: “It would be awesome to win in front of home fans but I want to be world champion again.”
