Mum’s third Big C shock in 18 months
A YOUNG mum is refusing to give up after being diagnosed with cancer for the third time in 18 months.
Kirsty McDonald, 26, who has daughters Eva, five, and Ella, three, was told on July 10 that her condition is terminal.
The therapy assistant said: “I kept saying ‘Please don’t let me die, I have two young kids to live for’.
“I found a strength I didn’t know I had. There is nothing anyone could offer me apart from watching my kids grow up.”
Kirsty, from Orford, Cheshire, was first diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2017. After two all clears, the disease is now back in her lymph nodes.
