Potters finally Bagg McClean
GARY ROWETT finally got his man as West Brom’s James McClean agreed a four-year deal with Stoke.
The Potters boss wants an instant Premier League return and sees the Ireland winger – who joins from the Baggies for £5million, possibly rising to £6m – as a key part of his plans.
“James is a player I’ve admired for a long time,” said Rowett. “Every time I’ve watched him play I’ve always been impressed by how hard he worked.”
Rowett wants to strengthen further by adding Huddersfield wideman Tom Ince to his squad in a £10m deal.
