YOUR MEMORIES

-

My lovely late mother-in-law Dorothy Wright (pictured on the phone) was a communication volunteer in the National Fire Service at Silvertown in Greater London during the Second World War. She was just a teenager at the time and, like the other girls, she worked through the night. Dorothy and her friends are a shining example. They did everything they could for their country and we should never forget them.
