JOSE MOURINHO must offload one of his Manchester United central defenders to clear the way for a £65million move for England World Cup star Harry Maguire. Mourinho is ready to test Leicester’s resolve to keep the 25-year-old and Old Trafford defender Marcos Rojo looks the likely fall-guy. Rojo has yet to meet up with United on their pre-season tour of the US even though Argentina exited the World Cup more than three weeks ago. Mourinho has been impressed with the progress of Maguire (above) since his £17m move from Hull to Leicester last summer, culminating in his fine World Cup in Russia.
