The Hepatitis C Trust is the national UK charity for this condition. In the UK there are around 215,000 people living with the virus, and around half have no idea they’ve got it.

The Trust’s mission is to reverse the rapidly increasing death toll caused by hepatitis C in the UK until no one dies from this preventable and treatable disease until, ultimately, it’s all but eradicated in this country. Its helpline is staffed by patients who have all had hepatitis C. They can be reached on 0845 223 4424 or 020 7089 6221 (10.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday). Alternatively, you can email helpline@ hepctrust.org.uk and they can offer support and answer any questions you may have.
