Public service jobs for boys

MPs warn today of a “merry-go-round” culture in which Government contracts go to a tiny set of firms who do not deliver.

The Public Accounts Committee will highlight firms expert in winning public contracts but failing to provide good services.

Its report states: “The taxpayer deserves better. The Government has created a merry-go-round procurement culture.”
