Harry: Young are the key to beating Aids
PRINCE Harry has urged young people to take on the challenge of tackling a new Aids epidemic.
Harry, attending a world conference on the disease, told young delegates they were they key.
Across the globe, the numbers of new transmissions among the crucial 10-19 age group is rising.
Harry told advocates from his charity Sentebale: “We have to put power into the hands of the younger generation.
“That’s where solutions are going to come from.”
Earlier, the Duke of Sussex heard young delegates speak about how Aids had affected them.
The Aids 2018 gathering in Amsterdam brings together 15,000 scientists, activists, health providers and policy makers.
