You’ve got to admire Faith for keeping things running since the sudden disappearance of her husband Evan.

Not only is she looking after the kids, cooking nice meals in her beautiful kitchen, running around town in her ridiculously high heels, outsmarting the dodgy female DI, downing bottles of white wine with her boozy best pal and keeping up appearances in front of the wealthy in-laws, she also finds time to defend BBC2, 8pm

LET’S hear it for the boundarypushing boffins who have invented so many of the things we now take for granted.

the local vicar who’s been caught with his hands in the collection box.

She doesn’t seem much closer to finding out where or why Evan has gone, although discovering he’s been frequenting a strip club in Swansea and ordering a mysterious DNA testing kit could shed some light.

Meanwhile we’re no closer to figuring out anything.

But we’ve got our suspicions about dodgy Steve Baldini and Faith’s policeman brother-in-law.

Although that could just be because he was the baddie in Broadchurch…
