SAINT’S ALIVE

-

Aston Martin is well on its way to opening its factory in Wales at the old RAF St Athan site near Cardiff.

Already 150 employees have been hired to set up the facilities, and a further 600 will be taken on when production starts next year.

St Athan will produce Aston’s DBX SUV. Another newcomer to the region is TVR, which has received Welsh government investment. But there’s still no sign of production starting and no word that a factory is being built.

Customers who put down deposits for a TVR Griffith a few years ago may be getting twitchy.
