HAIL NIRO

Kia will launch its all-electric Niro model at this year’s Paris motor show in October.

Already launched in Korea, the Niro crossover features a 64 kWh battery pack that feeds power to a 204bhp electric motor turning the front wheels.

Kia promises a range of up to 280 miles – but experience tells us that the real-world range will be significantly shorter than that.

The Niro EV will go on sale in Europe at the end of the year with prices announced later.
