UEFA fine Liverpool
UEFA has fined Liverpool £7,100 over incidents at their Champions League semi-final first leg against Roma at Anfield.
The Reds were charged with crowd disturbances, the throwing of objects and letting off of fireworks in the match on April 24, which they won 5-2.
Marseille must play their first Europa League game of the season behind closed doors as a punishment for similar incidents in last season’s quarter-final, semi-final and final.
They were also fined £88,850 and handed a two-year suspended ban from future European competitions.
