Hoops join ticket row
CELTIC have called for talks with Rangers and Scottish league officials over the ticket row which is set to transform the atmosphere at Old Firm derbies.
The Scottish champions hit back after Rangers decided to end the deal which sees more than 7,000 away fans attend Ibrox and Celtic Park.
Celtic have now confirmed they will follow Gers’ plans to offer only about 800 tickets to their Glasgow rivals – but they have called for talks with the Scottish Professional Football League.
A Hoops statement said: “This is not a development we welcome and it is unfortunate that the initial decision came without any form of discussion.”
