Rafa signs Mainz man
YOSHI MUTO has agreed a £9.5million transfer from Mainz to Newcastle.
The Japan striker, 26, agreed personal terms on Tyneside yesterday and became Rafa Benitez’s most significant signing of the summer so far.
Muto says he is keen to test himself at a higher level and has set himself a 10-goal target for the Premier League.
Benitez is pushing for two or three more arrivals before the deadline, including another forward and a full-back.
He would like to bring in £16.5m-rated West Brom striker Salomon Rondon.
