Zara’s secret ordeal in 2nd miscarriage
ZARA Tindall has said she had a second miscarriage shortly after losing her unborn child in 2016.
The 37-year-old granddaughter of the Queen said she kept the second heartache a secret because the pain was too much to deal with.
She said the loss came “really early on” in her pregnancy, adding: “I think you need to go through a period where you don’t talk about it because it’s too raw.
“But, as with everything, time is a great healer.”
Paying tribute to the royals for helping her cope, she added: “It was a time when my family came to the fore and I needed them.”
Last month, Zara gave birth to daughter Lena, her second child with husband Mike Tindall, 39. They had Mia in January 2014.
