Children’s longterm cancer survival improves

The improvement in the five-year survival rate of children with cancer continues – increasing from 77.1% in 2001 to a predicted 84% in children diagnosed with cancer in 2017.

One-year and 10-year survival rates improved in all ages up to 14 due to improvements in treatments and supportive care.
