Pilot’s amazing images of war

THIS dramatic moment, when a First World War Zeppelin lands, just missing a barracks, has emerged in an unearthed picture album.

The rare historic images show “fascinating aerial” shots as well as crashed planes and posing pilots. Taken in Flanders, Belgium, by German airman Rudi Porta, they will be sold on Friday in Middle Claydon, Bucks.
