TORCEDOR is the value against hot favourite Stradivarius in the Group 1 Qatar Goodwood Cup (3.35) as Glorious Goodwood gets underway.

Stradivarius, who won this race 12 months ago, finished a length in front of my selection, who came home in third, when landing the Gold Cup at Ascot last month.

But Torcedor finished ahead of this afternoon’s rival when the pair chased home Order Of St George at Ascot last October.

David Elsworth’s SIR DANCEALOT gets the vote in the Qatar Lennox Stakes (3.00). Gerald Mosse’s (left) mount landed Newmarket’s Criterion Stakes over seven furlongs on his penultimate start, and ran a cracker when fourth to US Navy Flag in the July Cup over six last time.

There’s plenty of potential on show in the Qatar Vintage Stakes (2.25), but DARK VISION can remain unbeaten.
