Python man in near-hiss
A BLIND man tried to pick up an 8ft python thinking it was pipe insulation.
Stuart Saunders, 60, had heard crashes in his bathroom and, after finding broken bottles and a “foam pipe” too heavy to shift, he called his support worker.
Mr Saunders of Exeter, Devon, said: “He told me, ‘You’ve a snake in your bathroom’. I was amazed.”
The reptile, which had come up through the loo, was removed by Exeter Exotics pet shop staff.
