Villa need Jack as their ace

WHEN Aston Villa were in dire straits I said Jack Grealish should join Tottenham.

Grealish (left) owed the club nothing and they would have received a much-needed cash injection. Now Villa and their new owners do have some cash, however, it’s a no-brainer that he should stay. Because even though he has Premier League ability we do not yet know if he has top Premier League ability.

He could gain another year’s experience while hopefully helping Villa into the top flight. And, let’s be perfectly honest, he’s probably not going to get into that Spurs midfield straight away.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino would probably want to work on Grealish for a year or two to bring him up to speed.
