Pulp v Happy Mondays in Bargain Hunt special for BBC Music Day
TWO priceless artefacts from the 1990s pop scene have turned up on Bargain Hunt.
Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker and Happy Mondays dancer Bez battle each other to land winning antiques in a special marking the fourth annual BBC Music Day.
Experts Mark Stacey and Catherine Southon helped out on the show, airing in September.
Bez, real name Mark Berry, 54, and Jarvis, 54, were joined by respective bandmates Rowetta Idah, 52, and Candida Doyle, 54.
A BBC source said: “Both teams really got into the spirit of it all and had a lot of fun. There was certainly a competitive edge!”
Music Day treats on September 28 include a Pointless special and tailored content on The One Show and The Andrew Marr Show. And special messages from Kylie Minogue will play at train stations.
