ISIS clings on despite routs

HUNDREDS of IS thugs are thought to still be in the region despite heavy defeats in Iraq and Syria.

The main pockets are in the east and the south of Syria, and in north west Iraq, but hundreds are thought to have fled to Libya and Afganistan.
