BOAZ BOUNCES BACK AT ALBION
BOAZ MYHILL has signed a new contract for West Brom – just over a month after he was released by the club. The 35-year-old keeper has extended his stay by a further year, despite originally having been let go by the relegated Baggies at the start of the summer. He will now provide competition for new signings Sam Johnstone and Jonathan Bond.
“I’ve had to show that I was hungry to be here,” said Myhill (above). “I’ve had to show humility to come here every day without a contract. I’ve had to show that I’m still a good keeper and that’s why I’m still here.
“I’m happy to help in whatever way I can.
“I have obviously played at this level. In the last two teams I was involved with in the Championship we finished third, so I know I am a good keeper in this league.”
