Mum takes viral clip lout to cops

THE mother of a thug who twice punched a woman in the face outside a nightclub has taken him to the police.

Liam Holmes, 20, left his victim unconscious on the pavement and needing hospital treatment.

His mum Cathy, 53, said: “He hardly goes out any more and when he does this happens.”

A video clip of the row outside Faces in Gants Hill, East London, went viral online and has been viewed more than 10,000 times.

Ex florist Ms Holmes, of the Isle of Dogs, added: “We’re about to go to police and give a statement. People will judge him on the back of that video, but he’s no terror.”

Police said they are treating the attack on Saturday as GBH.
