KEV COUNTS ON FAMILY
KEVIN NOLAN is trying to lift himself and Notts County from the biggest disappointment of his career.
The former midfielder tasted promotion with Bolton, Newcastle and West Ham and had never experienced a play-off defeat before last May.
But County’s 5–2 aggregate loss to Coventry in the League Two play-off semi-final, along with dubious calls, floored him.
The County boss said: “I am not going to lie, it hit me hard, like a ton of bricks.
“When I came off after the two legs I feel I was cheated out of it. I can’t take that away. That is why it hurt so much.
“I had a bit a of time with the family and came back refreshed and ready to go.”
