BEN WOODBURN hopes to mend Blades’ hearts broken by David Brooks’ £15million move to Bournemouth.

Sheffield United fans were distraught when Brooks left at the start of the transfer window and cited his sale as an example of their club’s lack of ambition. But Woodburn (below) – a Wales team-mate of his pal Brooks – is vowing to fill the gap on a season-long loan from Liverpool. He said: “My great friend Brooksy has moved on now, so who knows? Maybe I am the new David Brooks now.”
