SOME 55% of us are expected to have visited our beaches by the end of December. The figure emerged as ministers revealed the Coastal Communities Fund has pumped £173million into 300 coastal sites since 2012. Historic England’s Deborah Lamb said regeneration work “can attract investment and tackle deprivation in coastal areas”.
