Death parts pair after 84yrs
BRITAIN’S longest-wed couple have finally been parted... 88 years after they started dating.
Maurice, 106, and Helen Kaye, 105, were preparing for their 84th wedding anniversary when Maurice fell ill and died. Helen has left their flat in Bournemouth, Dorset, for a care home rather than have to live there without him.
Daughter Tina Son said: “Everybody said they thought he was going to go on for ever.”
