ZIMBABWE’S opposition leader vows to challenge the election result.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa, a former enforcer of long-time leader Robert Mugabe, and head of Zanu-PF, was named winner with 50.8%.
But Nelson Chamisa, leader of the Movement for Democratic Change, said his party won the popular vote and accused Zanu-PF of “electoral shenanigans”.
