UGLY RHINOS MADE TO PAY HIGH PRICE

- BY GARETH WALKER

STEVE PRICE warned there is more to come from Warrington after wingers Josh Charnley and Tom Lineham helped rout Leeds. They scored two tries each as the Wolves recovered from Ryan Hall’s early score to crush the visitors. Aussie Price said: “It was always going to take a bit of time this year as we had so many internationals not back through pre-season. “Each week we’ve got better and had a really good performance against Wigan in the cup too – but we’ve definitely still a few more levels to go.”

Four tries in 18 minutes from Lineham, Charnley (above), Kevin Brown and Ben Murdoch-Masila put Warrington 26-6 up at the break.

Adam Cuthbertson’s reply briefly hinted at a Rhinos comeback, but those hopes were ended by Charnley’s second before Toby King, Bryson Goodwin and Lineham completed the scoring.

Leeds boss Kevin Sinfield described their display as “ugly”.
