I’D TRADE MY GOAL FOR A WIN
GEORGE BALDOCK admitted the Blades must learn their lesson after seeing his goal count for nothing.
His 62nd-minute goal gave boss Chris Wilder (right) and his Sheffield United side a deserved lead, but they failed to build on the advantage and Swansea made them pay. Baldock (left) said: “I would trade my goal for three points. To get ahead in the game but then give away two goals, especially two soft goals like we did, is bitterly disappointing.
“When it was 1-0 we felt really comfortable, but Swansea have got good players and if you give them opportunities, like we did, they will punish you.”
