May blasted over ‘Brexit scare tactics’
NICOLA Sturgeon has slammed Theresa May for using “scare tactics” over a Brexit no-deal and said she must reveal her Plan B.
Scotland’s First Minister said failing to agree terms with the EU would be “utterly unacceptable and deeply damaging”.
The Prime Minister was talking up no-deal as a negotiating tactic but “there is a very real danger it becomes a reality”, said Ms Sturgeon.
She added: “The PM promised a detailed statement on the future relationship with the EU alongside the withdrawal agreement. That promise must be kept.”
Mrs May is in Edinburgh today to announce a £1.2billion deal for the city jointly funded by Holyrood and Westminster.
