Benteke great expectations
CHRISTIAN BENTEKE is determined to bounce back from his year to forget with a “great season” for Crystal Palace.
He scored just three times for Palace last term, which cost him his place in Belgium’s World Cup squad.
But he wants to make amends and said: “I’ve worked hard in pre-season and know what I’m capable of doing.
“I said to the manager, this year is going to be up to me.
“I’ve prepared myself physically and mentally to have a great season.”
