Today we get behind the Great British High Street Awards and launch a search to find the individuals making a difference.
Nominations for the High Street Hero Award, in association with the Daily Mirror, close on August 22. Whether it’s someone who gives time, money or just enthusiasm, don’t delay and tell us why they should be named the High Street Hero.
A shortlist will be unveiled on September 17. Winners, one for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, will be announced in November.
