Police treat 999-call kid
FOUR-YEAR-OLD Mila Dobby has been rewarded with a tour of her local police station – after calling 999 when her hypoglycemic mum fell unconscious.
Durham Police gave the child and her family the treat and praised her “quick thinking” when her mum Ellen collapsed and hit her head on April 30.
She stayed on the phone until paramedics came to her home in Consett.
Ellen, 24, said: “If she hadn’t called 999, it might have been a different story.”
