Army veteran dead in park

AN Army veteran who went missing was found dead in a park near his home the next morning.

Jonny Cole, 39, of The Rifles, is believed to have suffered PTSD and anxiety.

His body was discovered at Codnor Park, not far from his home in Ironville, Derbys, on Thursday.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.

Social media support group British Tri Services said: “It’s about time the Government started to take care of our veterans.”
