In a quiet community in Wales, everything is getting a little bit out of hand. Eve Myles plays Faith, bewildered wife of missing Evan (Bradley Freegard), who wanders from clue to mysterious clue in her yellow mac, digging herself deeper into trouble.

There’s a dodgy dentist who keeps asking everyone for cash. Then there’s the platinum blonde widow with three kilos of “best Colombian”. Not to mention the old man who Faith discovered dead in his allotment.

Now Evan’s car is found dumped at the docks and Faith is dragged to the police station for an interview.

“It’s routine,” assures brotherin-law copper Terry (Matthew Gravelle), who we don’t trust, purely because he was the killer in Broadchurch five years ago – our memories are long!

We have other suspects too, of course. Steve wants to help, but also finds himself in trouble with the law. And DI Williams thinks Faith is behind everything. Conspiracy theories abound... Channel 5, 9pm

BIG Brother is like an old friend you used to have a lot of fun with, but with whom you’ve since lost touch. When you bump into them, you think, “Ah, it was quite nice to see them”... but the old spark has gone.
