WORLD CHAMPION Jonnie Peacock vowed there is more to come as he prepares to return to athletics after a year off.

The 25-year-old (right) is due to compete next month at the Great City Games in Newcastle.

He has one eye on defending his T44 100m title at next year’s World Para Athletics Championships, having taken time out to compete in Strictly Come Dancing. He said: “I’m still an athlete and that’s my job. It’s been fun doing different stuff but I’m not done yet, I’ve done some good things but there’s still a lot more I’m capable of.”
