Disaster plan for London in no-deal fear
LONDON Mayor Sadiq Khan has called in disaster planners to assess the impact a no-deal Brexit would have on the capital.
He will consult the London Resilience Forum, which makes contingency plans for terror attacks and disasters such as the Grenfell fire.
He said: “Even ministers now admit crashing out with no deal is now more likely than ever. We are left with no choice but to plan for a no-deal scenario.”
The body, featuring 170 organisations including local authorities and the NHS, would assess risks including medicine and food shortages.
