Fury at CBB for allowing Hardeep in the house
WOMEN’S rights supporters have hit out at comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli for using his scandal to land a spot on Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother.
The presenter took six months’ leave from the BBC’s The One Show in 2009 after a female researcher complained about him.
But the incident and its fallout was used as the justification for the 49-year-old being invited on CBB’s Eye Of The Storm series, featuring celebs who have weathered a scandal.
Nicola Thorp, 29, former Coronation Street actress, said: “I cannot fathom how, in a post #metoo world, Hardeep can be put into the CBB world.”
