They give birth at same hospital within 3 hours

TWO sisters gave birth next door to each other – just three hours apart.

Older sibling Chantelle Grace had been in labour for 12 hours when Natasha Palmer was rushed to maternity and gave birth to Phoebe just 45 minutes later.

Chantelle had Lennox three hours after that at St Mary’s Hospital, Isle of Wight. Both were more than a week overdue.

Travel agent Chantelle, 30, said: “I heard a voice outside and it was Natasha’s partner, Jamie. I heard my mum call out, then a baby crying, and I was just glad everything was all right.

“After that I wasn’t thinking about anything except how much pain I was in.”

Nurse Natasha, 27, said: “It was surreal but nice in the morning because we were in each other’s rooms having a chat.

“I think the children will be close and play together all the time. I’m so excited.”
