Paralympic gold medallist Jonnie Peacock is the final celebrity under scrutiny as this series concludes. Jonnie knows very little about his father’s side of the family, and to be honest, not a lot more about his mother’s side.

He’s keen to know more about his mum’s father, Johnnie Roberts, a keen footballer who died when his mum was pregnant with him. He visits his grave for the first time and also finds out why he was denied the chance of a football trial at Leeds.

Later on, Jonnie examines his great grandparents’ Edward and Mary’s marriage certificate, which shows both of their fathers had died by the time they were married. One died as a result of “anthrax accidentally contracted whilst working on board a ship”.

And on his father’s side, he finds out that one ancestor was so desperate to keep her maiden name in the family, she paid her daughter £100 for each grandchild given the name. Why?
