KIERAN TRIPPIER has not received the freedom of his home town of Bury just yet but on this form it won’t be long in coming.

ALEKSANDAR MITROVIC says Fulham’s players have a responsibility to help their new boys settle in quickly.

The Cottagers signed 12 players in the summer transfer window at a cost of more than £100 million but have lost their opening two games. Mitrovic, who opened his account on Saturday at Wembley, admits that the influx of new players will take time to sort out.

The striker (left) said: “We all have a responsibility to help them settle in as fast as they can. Some of them don’t speak English. But they are all good players and they bring something that we didn’t have.

“They are coming from different leagues – from France, from Germany – but this is the toughest league in the world. They need to see how the system works, what the manager wants.

“Some players have only been here 10 days.”
