Navy wrecks looting fears

OFFICIALS are probing cliams that Second World War Royal Navy shipwrecks lying off Malaysia and Indonesia have been scavanged by looters.

Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson said he “absolutely condemns” the targeting of HMS Tien Kwang, HMS Kuala, HMS Banka and SS Loch Ranza.

The wrecks are thought to be the final resting place for hundreds of Navy sailors and civilians.
