In another tearjerking episode, two people are searching for their birth mothers. Julie from Birmingham has always known that she’s adopted, but found out when she was a teenager that her birth mother, Marion, was only 18 when she had her.
After accessing her adoption paperwork, Julie discovered that her father was a married man.
Now Julie longs to find Marion to see what impact this teen pregnancy had and what became of her.
Meanwhile, all that Marc knows about his birth mother is that she was Jewish and wanted him to be adopted into a Jewish family.
It turns out Marc was actually raised in a close-knit Jewish family, but has always struggled with feelings of rejection.
He says: “Deep down I always wonder why I was given up. Is it because she didn’t want me?”
Now, after the death of his adoptive mother, he wants answers.
