TIGER WOODS says he is now a crowd favourite because fans can relate to his comeback.

The former world No.1 will contest the FedEx playoffs for the first time since 2013 when he tees up at the Northern Trust in New Jersey tomorrow.

The American, in contention on the final days of The Open and the US PGA amid raucous crowd support, said: “The way everyone received me at Tampa (in March) was very special. I hadn’t received ovations and warmth like that. People know I have struggled. They can relate to that because they have all been through it.”
