Pilot ‘buzzes Stonehenge’

-

A MAN has been fined £600 for flying a paraglider too low over Stonehenge.

One witness claimed “it looked like he could have kicked” the historic stones on Salisbury Plain.

Timothy Dunham, 26, admitted breaching lowflying rules in January, but told Swindon magistrates he was “no novice” pilot.

Yet JP Hatty Stafford Charles said 66 children were at the site and there was “potential for harm”.

Dunham, of Mere, Wilts, must also pay costs of £460.
