ANGRY FAN PLEADS WITH QPR LEGEND LES
QPR legend Les Ferdinand was confronted by an angry supporter outside Loftus Road after Tuesday’s 3-0 defeat by Bristol City.
The fan was heard imploring director of footballer Ferdinand (left) to sign players with heart and passion, a further sign of the growing unrest at the club, where boss Steve McClaren is already under pressure.
But Rangers are currently restricted in the transfer market due to their £17million financial fair play fine, a punishment that also comes with a transfer embargo in January.
Rock-bottom Rangers have shipped 13 goals in four defeats and scored just two.
Saturday’s 7-1 thumping at West Brom was the club’s worst defeat for 31 years.
Former skipper Shaun Derry said of new boss McClaren: “It is ridiculous to be talking about someone’s future after four games. The game has changed.”
