Davies: Silva’s made me shine
TOM DAVIES admits he has to impress to force his way into manager Marco Silva’s Everton side.
The Blues brought in Andres Gomes, Bernard and Richarlison this summer to bolster their midfield.
And Davies, 20, said: “It’s always high-tempo training – with everyone trying to get in the team.
“The way the manager plays suits me and the way he wants me to play is how I like to play and see the game.
“He wants me to press, get forward and be a box-to-box midfielder – and it’s only going to benefit me.”
